Most visitors to the Shasta Cascade arrive by automobile, RV or motorcycle, others fly into Redding or Chico, take a Greyhound bus or Amtrak train.
The majority of travelers visiting the region are from California and arrive by automobile on Interstate 5. Other travelers arriving from the northwest also come on Interstate 5. The California Welcome Center in Anderson is centrally located off of Interstate 5 and is ready to serve visitors with directions and/or maps.
